An Ode to Lace
Who doesn't love lace? Lace connotes images of beauty, romance, and femininity. During the 17th and 18th century lace was a sign of prestige and wealth. Today lace is incorporated into everything from dresses to jackets to shoes and necklaces. A touch of lace immediately adds sex appeal and intrigue. Below are magazine clips from my inspiration binder. They depict how designers are using lace today to create beautiful, timeless clothing. Lace will never go out of style.
